Hello all just a quick note, opp went well, non weight baring for 3mths due to RA foot very painful at the moment and guess what?sickness and diarrhea, thats all i need with my mobility being so poor, i am worried about dehydration as i cant even keep the water down, i will try and speak to gp at around 11am, it could just be all the tabs i am taking for the pain along side RA meds.
must go now, need the bucket xx

Glad to hear your op went well. Were you given any antibiotics during or after surgery to cause diarrhoea? General anaesthetics can cause sickness (I'm sick every time regardless of being given anti-sickness drugs) and had chronic diarrhoea when I was on Tazocin antibiotics. The way I dealt with it was to take max dose of Imodium anti-diarrhoea tablets and codeine, although a pain killer helps with diarrhoea. Hope you can sort it out. Carol

Wow, Ann-Marie - posting already, albeit with the help and assistance of a bucket! Poor you but great to see you are through the op and are now recoverng. I am always sick after ops - I think it's the morphine based drugs which cause most of it.
Take huge care
Lots of love Jeaxxxx

Oh Ann Marie,
What bad luck after having your op. I hope that you have not picked up a nastie from the hospital. Hope that you recover soon and that it does not hinder your progress after your operation. Take care,
Eleanor x

Hubby phoned GP today re sickness and all the rest you dont want to know, i was in an terrible way, G.P very concerned due the the fact that i had just left hosptial, he told me to stop all the meds i was on, i expect taking them plus normal RA stuff and being unable to eat,not so good he gave me co-codamol dont normally have these as they constipate me, not a problem now cyclizine and dioralyte and thank god they appear to be working, if they hadn't kicked by in by 5pm GP said i was to go to Hospital, on top of that i fell over, inner elbow took the brunt of it thanfuly, i have noticed Kells has fallen also, i was trying to get to the loo i had to sit with the bucket in between my legs, one leg on an up turned bucket, what a sight.
i slept well in the night, i didnt expect all this fuss on getting up.
well love you and leave you all. thank you for your kind words and thoughts Anne-m xxx
